PickCup is a social football prediction game. You join squads with friends or colleagues, predict match results, and compete on a live leaderboard. The more accurate your picks, the more points you earn.
Each match has a lock time, usually at kickoff. You can see the countdown on every match card. Once a match locks, you can no longer change your picks — but you can still review them under the Past tab.
Yes. PickCup is free to join and play.
A squad is a group of people competing together on the same set of matches. Every squad has its own leaderboard, its own scoring policy, and its own invite code. You can be in multiple squads at the same time.
Ask the squad owner for the invite code. In the app, tap Join Squad, enter the code, and you're in. Your picks for any matches that haven't locked yet will count immediately.
Tap Create Squad from the squads screen. Give your squad a name, choose which competition it follows, and share the invite code with whoever you want to invite.
A Match Challenge is a special one-off squad built around a single match or a short set of matches — great for cup finals, derbies, or any marquee game. The challenge has its own leaderboard and a fixed end state (Open → Live → Final).
Yes. All your squads appear in the squad switcher. On the Predict screen, your picks apply to every squad the match belongs to simultaneously.
Each squad can have a custom scoring policy that sets which pick types are active and how many points each one is worth. The squad owner configures this. You can always see the current policy from the squad's settings screen.

Not every pick type appears on every match — your squad's policy determines which ones are active.
The bonus pick is an optional extra where you choose a dramatic event to happen in the match:
Getting this right adds bonus points on top of your other picks.
Yes, as long as the match hasn't locked. Tap the match card, update your picks, and they save automatically.
You'll still earn points for any picks you did fill in correctly. Unfilled picks just score zero. The match card shows your completion progress so you always know what's missing.

Points are calculated after each match ends and results are confirmed. The leaderboard updates automatically. You can check the Past tab to see a full breakdown of points per match.
PickCup uses standard competition ranking: players with identical points share the same rank. If two people are tied at rank #1, the next player is ranked #3 — no one is unfairly pushed down.
The leaderboard ranks all squad members by total points, highest first. Tap any row to see that player's full match-by-match breakdown.
Tapping the star adds that player to your Starred list. Switch the leaderboard to Starred view to focus on just your key rivals instead of the full table.
Language follows your device locale, or you can switch it in the app's Settings screen. Hebrew displays right-to-left throughout the app.
Yes. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile and all your picks from every squad.
PickCup stores your prediction history, squad memberships, and leaderboard stats. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Check your internet connection. The trust bar at the bottom of the Predict screen shows a Syncing status while saves are in progress and Saved when complete. If you see a warning icon, close and reopen the app to retry.
No. Matches move to the Past tab once they kick off and the lock time passes. Check Past to see your picks and the result.
If the first match in the squad hasn't been played yet, everyone starts at 0. Points are only awarded after matches end and results are settled. This is normal at the start of a new squad or challenge.
If you set an exact score, items like Match Winner, Home/Away Goals, and Goal Difference are derived automatically from that score. The breakdown may show the implied values rather than a separate entry. If you genuinely missed a pick, the points for that module will be 0.
